When the world paused due to the recent lockdown it didn’t put a stop to the creativity and resilience of children.
Now, to celebrate the endless imagination and unique ingenuity that kids possess, the LEGO Group has unveiled an awe-inspiring installation – a 13ft globe – which showcases a build created by Jack Berne, Founder of A Fiver for A Farmer.
There is an old saying that third times a charm.. we are so lucky that each and every time we have been so supported by Australia.
Since launching in 2018 we have raised over $1.6m for much needed Farmers around Australia. We are so proud of this and that Jack has continue his goal to make sure that everyone from the Beaches to the Bush feels the love and support.
Now, more than ever we have realised, just how much we rely on our amazing Aussie farmers!
This pandemic has been hard on so many people. But we are continually supported by our Farmers providing fresh and nourishing produce for our big Masterchef cook offs while in isolation at home.
So we are back... to raise more awareness of this drought (yep.. it’s not over!) and to continue Jacks goal that everyone from the beaches to bush get behind this campaign!
So we need you to use your small but mighty voices and join us on Friday 18th September 2020.
Dress up as a Farmer, bring in an all Australian produce lunch and donate your fiver!($5)

Jack loved visiting Stanthorpe... Click to view the story.
Thank you to Don & Tracy Caslick, Lewis Holland & Charlotte Caslick, George & Leah Costanzo and the whole community of Stanthorpe.
If you get to visit - head to O'Maras for a Parmigiana and to Zest Pastries for the almond Croissant!!
Our farmers need us more than ever! Just because you aren't seeing it as much in the media doesn't mean the drought has ended. With Greater Sydney recently joining in on the Water restrictions, it shows us more than ever that now is the time to act. So Jack and the Drought Awareness Warriors are set for 2019 to be bigger and better than ever before. But we need your help!
So how can you help?
We have a challenge for you! We are always asked ”how else can we help our Australian Farmers?!”
•
So today Jack was speaking with Tash from Drought Angels who suggested that we can help our farmers by buying Australian made produce. So the challenge was set!
•
It wasn't as easy as you'd think. So are you ready to give it a go? When completing your next grocery shop we challenge you to buy as much Australian grown and made products as possible. Then we would love for you to share it with us! Using the hashtag #affafchallengeOur Australian farmers deserve our support!
Our Mates Lewis Holland & Charlotte Caslick have created the most amazing initiative to help rebuild the fences destroyed by the recent floods.
Over 8000km of fencing has been destroyed. Visit www.fencingforfarmers.com to donate to a worthy cause.
The drought is far from over. The media might not be sharing stories as much as they did last year but our Farmers need our love, support and donations more than ever.
Following record dry conditions, Farmers in rural Australia are in dire straights. As costs spiral and conditions worsen, even putting food on the table is becoming too hard for some families.
Let's band together and show them we care because if we don't help them, who will? It's all of our future.
Join the movement! After the huge success of 2018 A fiver for a Farmer Day. We are back! Join us on August 2nd, raise awareness through dressing as a Farmer, Donate five dollars, pack a lunch consisting of Australia Produce, so check your labels and buy in season!
Hi. My name is Jack Berne. I am ten years old and I am in Year 4 at St John the Baptist Primary School at Freshwater.
We have been learning about the drought and the Farmers and I heard that there are kids that are skipping school to help out on their farms. Kids that are our age!
My school mates and I want to fundraise for the Farmers - "A fiver for a Farmer" - but we need your help!
Here is the idea. We are going to get dressed up as farmers and bring in a fiver to raise awareness and funds. If we can raise some money, I think we can all feel better about helping our mates on the farms!
